This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use PixBharat on Android or iOS, visit related websites, or contact support.

• Account data: username, display name, email/phone (if provided), profile photo, password hash, settings, circles/followers.
• User Content: photos, captions, comments, likes, circle selections, and metadata you provide (e.g., tags).
• Device & log data: device model, OS version, app version, language, IP address, time zone, identifiers, crash logs, diagnostics.
• Usage data: screens viewed, interactions, features used, and engagement metrics.
• Permissions data:
  • Camera: to take photos when you choose.
  • Photos/Media/Library: to select and upload images.
  • Notifications: to alert you to likes, comments, and follows.
  • Location (optional): if you tag location on a post; you can disable this in settings.

• Provide and operate the App (accounts, posting, discovery, notifications).
• Moderate content and enforce our Terms.
• Improve performance, safety, reliability; prevent fraud.
• Analyze usage to improve features.
• Communicate with you about updates or security notices.
• Comply with law and legal process.

5. Legal bases

Where required, we process data on bases such as consent (e.g., camera, notifications), contract (to provide the App), legitimate interests (security, improvement), and legal obligations.

• Within PixBharat: Your content is shown to followers and circles you select.
• Service providers: Vendors for hosting, analytics, notifications, etc.
• Legal & safety: To comply with law or protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers: If PixBharat undergoes a merger or acquisition.

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own with appropriate safeguards.

8. Retention

• Account data: kept while active and for limited backup periods.
• User Content: available until you delete it; residual copies may remain in backups.
• Logs and analytics: retained briefly for security and improvement.

9. Your choices & rights

• Access & correction: You can view and edit profile information in the app.
• Deletion: You can delete photos and request account deletion.
• Consent controls: Manage permissions in your device settings.
• DPDP Act (India): You may request access, correction, or deletion. We will respond per legal timelines.

10. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method is 100% secure.

12. Cookies & similar technologies

The app may use device identifiers and SDKs for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and notifications.
